The Park city Mountain Trials Foundation keeps this community moving by providing free access to some of te greatest hiking and biking trails in the country. Whether you are running the mid-mountain marathon, biking the Point to Point or just out for a Nordic ski in Round Valley Park City provides the perfect place for a scenic sweat session. Sure beats city livin’!

Looking for the perfect place to hike or ride? Armstrong trail is a great choice. It is an uphill only trail on your bike so you have to be committed to the entire ride! The Armstrong trail is a gateway to many other awesome trails. The trail is not too steep so it is a great hike for everyone in the family and every ability level. After working up a sweat check out Silver Star Cafe for a cold beverage and amazing apre hike/bike!
Getting outside to exercise in the winter months is a must in Park City. The Basin Rec grooms and packs 16 miles of connected trails in Willow Creek Park and Utah Olympic Park areas. Perfect way to get outside and warm up!
Looking for a little variety? Head out to Round Valley loop.There are over 30 named trails in the area, varying from broad cindered pathways for families to intermediate-technical singletrack. It’s a WORLD of opportunity back there and none of the hikes/rides are EVER the same as the day before.
Fall leaves and a great trail are two things that you can find at the Iron Canyon Trails! Located between the Canyons Resort and PCMR, the views will make every step of the hike worth the climb! Once at the top, there is a cluster of rocks that make up the perfect seating for taking in the view overlooking all of Park City.

This is the “locals” mountain. Now that the future of the mountain has been resolved everyone can buckle their boots and hit the diverse terrain! From manicured groomers to powder-filled bowls, this mountain has it all!
