the kid's user guide to a human life

MUST READ FOR EVERY 9-12 YEAR OLD IN YOUR LIFE

Rebecca Brenner is a Park City local and  was a lululemon ambassador with a big dream, she wanted to write a children's book.  lululemon employees and ambassadors believe that writing down your goals helps you to achieve them.  During a vision and goals session Rebecca wrote down this goal and we are so excited to announce that 5 years later she has CRUSHED her goal!!

Seven years ago Becca and her husband had just changed everything in their lives...gotten married, moved across the country and started new jobs! They were feeling a little overwhelmed and headed on a trip to unwind.  During the trip Becca's husband shared that he was becoming dizzy often.  They determined it was because of stress and anxiety!

This led to many discussions about what we all did not learn as kids that would prepare us for human life.  We did not learn how to stay conected in the moment, what stress is and how it effects the body, how to work with emotions and many more things.

They started talking about how great a series of informative books would be for kids on how to live this human life with health, joy and awareness.  The ideas grew and grew until The Kid's User Guide to a Human Life series was born!

Book One is titled An Open Mind and it is amazing!  It explains real things to kids in a way that they can understand.  It is designed for kids ages 9-12 years old, but there is a child in all of us that can benefit from this book.  Little reminders that we all can use to help us live a more fulfilled life!

Becca will be in our store on Saturday, December 6th selling and signing copies of her book.  Bring in your tween to teen age kids for a meditation from 4:00-4:20 and then a book signing and ivivva (our girls' line) trunkshow from 4:30-6:00.  There will be an amazing message shared and surprises for the kids!  If you can't make it, Book One is available now at any book store and on Amazon.  It is the perfect size to stuff into a stocking this holiday season.
